Vikings2005, 1/13/2006, 12:13:18 AM

I was just wondering if anyone knows when the NSPA releases the critiques for the 2004-2005 school year. Im from Oregon and our newspaper still hasnt gotten theirs. If anyone knows...

We release them in the winter--the cool water encourages them to swim upstream and find a suitable mate.

Seriously, though, the critiques are not "released" at any particular time. When each critique comes in (and they can come in any time between the end of the school year and Dec. 1), it is sent out to a judge, and when it comes back from the judge, the results are logged and the entry is sent back to the publication. The process usually takes 2-3 months.

If you would like to find out the status of your critique, click the "contact us" link at the top of this page and send a message to Mary Kate Erickson, critique coordinator.
