Hey!
well I'm not really sure how to make tables in pagemaker but....I have made them in Microsoft word before and you can save it then place it into pagemaker.

I agree--make them in excel or Word and then copy and paste into pagemaker. Or you can save them as jpgs or pdfs and then put into pagemaker.

Pagemaker has a table utility that lets you create tables and import them directly into your application. I just checked on an older version (PM 6.5) and it was there. Since it was version 3.0, I assume that earlier builds of PM included Table as well.

You should be able to access it from your program menu, if you'r using windows. (use sherlock with macs)click <start> then <programs> then <adobe> then <pagemaker > and you should find a submenu that includes Table 3.0 or higher.

create your table and save it in a format that will be easily importable into your pagemaker application (using the 'place' feature)

if you have questions, the built in help menu in table is a great resource.

good luck,

tony
