Printer recommendations?

David C., 10/6/2005, 10:49:44 AM

I have been advising our school newspaper for about 10 years. During that time, I have gone through several printers (companies, not machines). While of varying quality, the price has always been pretty good, and service reasonably good. They all went out of business.

Now I am using a company that is terrible. 2 days before delivery was due, I was told they couldn't do the color front page. Now he is a day late with delivery. We had problems last year as well. I call him (read aloud in your best sarcastic tone) "Skippy the wonder printer."

Does anyone use a company willing to take electronic copy (can output in many ways) and ship to a school in Florida? I used to use a company in NJ that did this, but I can't get in contact with them.

Sign me,

Desperately seeking to relegate "Skippy" to being my peanut butter---not my printer.
