Yearbook advertising prices

Susan, 7/10/2005, 8:58:06 PM

We have a size 8 book and divide our ad pages into 1/9s so 9 small ads fit on one page. I am trying to get a feel for advertising prices. We have a school of 800 in a small town. We currently charge $40 for small ad. $70 for next size, $80 $95 and $180 for a full page ad. What are others charging?

I have a similar sized school. We sell an 1/8 page for $50, 1/4 for $90, 1/2 page for $150, and a full page for $250, although we've never actually sold a full page ad.

What kind of companies usually buy these ads? I'm curious as to who we should target. Thanks,

Companies that have ties to the school. Senior parents will usually buy an ad
