Northern Light editor sacked by administration

JohnW, 4/7/2006, 10:07:59 AM

It seems the administration at North Central University is a bit touchy about the Soulforce demonstration and public perception.

Editor and news editor were fired for refusing to allow preread + censorship of paper.

http://www.nlnews.org

Story lead: "The editorial staff of The Northern Light chose unanimously Tuesday, April 4, to stop producing the newspaper rather than give in to demands for censorship by the university. Administration responded by dismissing the editor-in-chief and news editor from their positions on staff, effective Thursday, April 6."
