Magazine Supplement

Eliot, 10/13/2005, 7:27:54 PM

I'm wondering about doing a magazine supplement at the end of the semester. Has anyone had experience with this? Are magazines really expensive if printed on magazine paper? Any other thoughts?

We've done special supplemental sections in the past. It works well but can be A LOT of work and take a lot of your resources away from your regular content. If you can manage it though, and have pleny of extra time to get it done, you can do some really cool stuff with supplements.

On printing, a magazine will most likely be quite expensive. However, you could use a color tabliod on newsprint, which is likely a more reasonable price and could be available from your regular printer. I'd consider that.

Good luck.
