Press Passes

We're looking to create custom press passes for our staffers. Does anyone know of where we could obtain press pass holders (around neck kind or others if you know)?

I actually make these every semester for all the editors on staff and a handful of general staffers. I buy the cords at Staples. There are something like 5 or 6 in a package and run for $5 or so. WalMart (in New Hampshire at least) carries no heat business card laminate with 10 in a package for $4. Staples may also carry them.

Any Kinko's can provide you with id- sized holders, I reccomend using cheap key-chain necklaces for to attach the pass. If you play your cards right, you end up with a professional and functional pass holder.

The ACP will provide holders for 2.00 per holder. They have a chain on them to hang around the neck and a pouch in back to cards.

If you haven't checked yet, the student body gov't at your college should provide a very elegant collegiate press pass. Check with the media relations manager at your university. The press passes should say Associated Collegiate Press and will require a signature from their department. Good Luck, Pacifican News Editor, University of the Pacific Stockton, CA
