Censorship

Jim Miller, 10/14/2004, 10:45:49 PM

I am a senior at St. Bonaventure University working on a thesis regarding the practice and impact of censoring the collegiate press.

I am seeking accounts of censorship (from students or advisers) and accounts of the impact that censorship has on us as student reporters.

For the purposes of my thesis, I am defining censorship as any activity done with the intent of curtailing the activities of the student press--be it prior restraint, intimidation/threats, messing with advisers or whatever.

If anyone is willing to assist with this, please let me know. I can be reached at millerjp@sbu.edu

My thesis is due Dec. 1, 2004, so if you're reading this after that date--well, too late!

Thanks,
Jim Miller
